Process to Apply for the Disaster Recovery Program

The Government of The Bahamas has undertaken to provide up to $10 million to facilitate businesses affected by hurricane Dorian on the islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco through grants, loan guarantees and equity funding.

 

This special equity program is open and available to all Bahamian businesses conducting a legal business that existing prior to the hurricane.

 

The Bahamas Entrepreneurial Venture Fund (BEVF) is a venture capital firm established by the Bahamas Government that primarily considers seed and early stage investments. The Fund’s focus is on unique, innovative and creative businesses uncommon in the local business environment.
